Class of 2018 Senior: Cassie
Kamiak High School – Mukilteo, WA
Favorite part of high school: “My favorite part about high school is learning. I have so much admiration for teachers. I have created amazing relationships with some of my teachers and they have helped me learn and grow into the person I am today. Teachers have always pushed me and inspired me to pursue college and medicine. I am forever grateful for them!”
Sports/Activities: “Volleyball used to be my life until some health issues. I will be doing cross country this year to stay healthy! I am also involved with Providence hospital, The Everett Animal Shelter, and Mukilteo Lutheran Pre-School. I have always loved animals, but my real passion is children. I hope that my future career will involve children, because I believe they are the key to a brighter future!”
In my free time, you’ll likely find me: “In my free time, you’ll likely find me at the Mukilteo beach. I love looking for sea creatures and eating ice cream at our beautiful beach!”
Hopes for life after high school: “After high school, I hope to go to a smaller university and then go to medical school to either pursue woman’s health or pediatrics.”
Personal style: “My personal style is very simple. My mom always jokes that I only have 5 certain colors in my wardrobe. I love oversized sweaters with flannels, cold shoulder tops, and florals.”
A note for Cassie: You are just lovely! I loved spending time with you and your family this past summer. I can’t wait to see where the future takes you. I hope you follow your passions boldly. I know that you will make the world a better place if you do!
